Anky仔在剛剛過去的6月飛了一轉大阪。雖然去程被換成B777-300區域性航班,但是回程卻付我充滿驚喜,也是一班非常歡樂的航班。不知道大家還記不記得Anky仔曾介紹CX543的特別地方呢?為什麼提起了CX543?因為以下介紹的航班也是看起沒特別,其實只是你不知道而已。
In the past June, I went to Osaka.  Although there was an equipment swap to a regionally-configured 777-300, the flight was full of surprises and joy.  Do you recall what was special about CX543?  Why am I bringing up this very flight?  This is because there are things that you do not know about.

今次,我們介紹的是從日本大阪關西機場回香港的CX595。跟很多國泰航班一樣,來往日本跟香港的航班也是跟日本航空及卡塔爾航空(卡達航空)做共享代碼的。
This time, we will be reviewing flight CX595 from Osaka to Hong Kong.  Like many Cathay flights, those between Japan and Hong Kong are codeshared with Qatar Airways.

登機櫃台及資訊 Check-in Desks & Info

國泰航空在大阪關西機場是使用C區的登機櫃台。出境就只需轉左就看到,非常方便。當天CX595商務艙不滿,但由於前一小時會有一班CX507及CX565航班回香港及台北,所以我們也建議坐CX595的旅客可以在下午4點左右到達會比較少人一點。
Cathay uses the check-in desks in aisle C at Kansai Airport.  The departures area can be found just left of the check-in desks.  Business class on my flight wasn't full.  I'd recommend booking yourself on CX595 since CX507 and CX565 depart an hour before and later to Hong Kong and Taipei respectively, flight CX595 would usually see fewer passengers.

商務艙在辦理登機手續後,會拿到3張卡,分別是登機證、貴賓室邀請卡及一張關西機場的快速通關卷。
After checking in, you'll receive 3 cards if you're flying in business class.  These include: boarding pass, lounge invitation card and an invitation card for priority security.

貴賓室 Lounge

雖然國泰航空每天有大約5班飛機,但跟疫情前一樣也是沒有自己的貴賓室。它是使用ASUKA的貴賓室。位置是不太方便。因為貴賓室是在3號登機門附近。要過去3號登機門,你需要乘搭無人駕駛列車前往,所以是不方便的。
Despite the fact that Cathay has 5 daily flights to Kansai, they still do not have their own lounge here.  Instead, eligible guests will be directed to use the ASUKA lounge.  The location is not too convenient since it's located next to gate 3, which is a train ride away.

貴賓室只有幾款的食物,2款壽司,飲料及有酒精的酒,包括:白酒,紅酒。貴賓室面積由於也不是太大,所以座位也是不多,只是因為人少。有些座位可以看到風景,而且看到飛機降落的。
There were only a handful of food options offered, which include 2 types of sushis, beverages and alcohols (red and white wines).  The lounge itself isn't too big and couldn't seat a lot of guests.  Part of the lounge offersa good view for planespotting.

Anky仔只停留了大約20分鐘就回去主航廈
I only spent 20 minutes before heading back to the main terminal.

登機門 Boarding Gate

當天登機門是17號,位置主航廈,在星巴克旁有升降機下一層前往。剛也提及,在5點左右會有CX507,也會有一班HX619,共有3班飛機去香港的,所以大家記得看清楚航班及登機門,不要去錯地方登機。
Our flight boarded from gate 17 in the main terminal, which can be accessed by the lift next to the Starbucks.  Since there are 3 flights that depart for Hong Kong at roughly the same time, please be sure to check your gate before joining the queue.

還有一班香港快運剛降落大阪,也準備回去香港了。
A Hong Kong Express touching down in Kansai, which returned to Hong Kong shortly after.

 

飛機在18:05左右登機,日本的地勤會看登機證才給優先登機,否則,會叫你排旁邊的隊伍。
At about 18:05, our boarding passes were checked before letting you into the priority boarding lane.  For those who are ineligible, you'll be asked to use the lane next to it.

Anky仔發現有一枝EVIAN的水在我桌上。原來是飛機沒太多鑽石卡旅客,所以把水也派發給金卡。空服人員也在不久派發歡迎飲料,但不知道是否人手減了,所以上一程沒派發餐單,今次就沒派發熱毛巾。
A bottle of Evian wate was placed on the table before boarding.  Since there weren't too many Diamond guests on this flight, those who hold Gold status were given this privilege as well.  Not long after, our menus were also handed out.  However, we weren't given hot towels on this journey (and the menu on the previous one).  I'm speculating that this is because they're short-staffed.

在登機後,空服也會播放最少兩次的廣播,提醒旅客要把自己的行李用自己的力量放在行李櫃內或前方座位下面。亦因為性別的問題,英文的開場句子由Ladies and Gentlemen改了Dear Passengers。
2 announcements were made after boarding, reminding us to stow our carry-on in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of us.  Because of gender issues, the announcements now begin with "Dear Passengers", instead of "Ladies and Gentlemen".

在A350飛機,你的座位旁會有一個儲物櫃,裹面有抗噪音耳機,鏡子,充電位置。儲物櫃旁,你會看到個人電視控制器、座位控制器,個人閱讀燈。
Onboard the A350, you'll find a storage area next to your seat, which consists of a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, mirror and power outlet.  Next to the storage bin, you'll find the IFE remote control and a personal reading light.

餐單 Menu

餐單在你登機前已放在座位旁的桌子上。餐單會有繁體中文及英文顯示。日本線有3種主餐可以選擇,包括:香港風情,西式及日本式餐點。
The menu, with traditional Chinese and English available, can be found on the table just next to the seat.  There were 3 options for this route: Hong Kong style, Western or Japanese.

飛機準時推出機位及起飛了。
We then pushed back and departed on time.

起飛後 After takeoff

空服經理通知所有旅客因為大部份的個人電視在經濟艙有問題,所以全部電視也要重新開機。重開後,Anky仔就繼續看看香港的電視台--Viutv看2021-2022年度的歌曲頒獎。因為有Anky仔喜歡的林家謙,C allstar及Dear Jane。國泰的A350電視也可以和電視控制器分開播放,Anky仔就喜歡一個看節目,一個看飛行資訊。
We were informed that since most IFEs were not working economy class, the system has to be rebooted.  As soon as it was restarted, I began watching the music award ceremony (for the year of 2021 - 2022) on ViuTV since my favourite singers are featured on the show.  The IFE remote control has a small screen, in which something else can be played.  I took advantage of this and played the flight map on the remote while watching the TV show on the main screen.

6點多飛到天空,你坐在窗戶就會看到以下的美景:
We reached cruising altitude at about 6pm and I began enjoying the views outside the window.

飛機餐 Flight Meal

在起飛後大約45分鐘,空服開始派發餐前飲料及花生。Anky仔就點了奧地利產的白酒。喝起來比較甜,是Anky仔喜歡的,國泰提供3款白酒,大家也可以試試。但
Approximately 45 minutes after take off, we were served drinks and peanuts.  I went for an Austrian white wine, which is on the sweeter side, exactly the way I love it. Cathay provides 3 options for the white wine, feel free to try them all out.

提醒大家,喝酒就不要駕駛車輛了,也不要喝到醉阿。
As a reminder, please don't drink and drive; try not to get drunk either

過了大約20分鐘,空服人員會為乘客鋪桌子。之後便派發前菜、麵包及飲料。
Our tables were set  with a table cloth 20 minutes later, followed by the appetiser, bread rolls and drinks.

空服人員看到你吃完前菜後,便收起碟子及預備你要的主菜。Anky仔也一如概往選擇了日式主餐。
The plate was collected after I finished the appetiser, then I was served my main.  I went for the Japanese option as usual.

享受了主餐後,Anky仔就預備吃水果及冰淇淋。當空服放下冰淇淋時,我就問了空服一個問題 :CX595是哪裡上飛機餐的?空服回答說是否不像香港的上餐,才知道CX595的餐是日本大阪上餐的。Anky仔後來想想,也對阿~CX595上一段是CX596,飛機會在關西機場換機組人員,在關西機場也比CX506/CX507停得更長時間,所以是日本上飛機餐的。冰淇淋還會看到日文,所以Anky仔才去問的原因。
After finishing the main dish, I started on the fruits and ice cream.  As the crew handed me the ice cream, I asked where was the meal loaded for this flight.  She replied by asking if I could tell that the meal wasn't loaded in Hong Kong.  At this moment I realised that since the previous sector of this flight, CX596, would swap crew in Kansai, there would be more time spent on the ground, hence allowing time for meals being loaded there.  The reason I asked was because I noticed the Japanese printings on the ice cream label.

冰淇淋跟水果時間過後,空服也問了需不需要飲料,我也點了一杯日本綠茶及要了一條熱毛巾。
The crew offered another drink after dessert, I opted for a Japanese green tea and a hot towel.

再看看外面的風景也是很美,那時候我記得好像是降落前一個半小時左右
The view was spectacular as we were 90 minutes away from Hong Kong.

在降落前25分鐘,機長已經要空服做好降落檢查及坐下來,因為香港這一段時間也是雷雨天,所以飛機也有點不太穩定。由於香港現在主要使用三跑降落,所以滑行也需要最少15分鐘。在滑行時間就已經下雨了,飛機還要停在遠機位,真的不得了。
25 minutes before landing, the crew were asked by the captain to perform the pre-arrival safety checks and to get seated.  Since thunderstorms are a common occurence during this time of the year, the flight became unstable as we approached Hong Kong.  We landed on the newest 3rd runway, which is also the furthest from the terminal.  It took us at least 15 minutes to taxi to the gate and we unfortunately had to disembark at the outer bay while it was pouring.
