Introduction 簡介
The Boeing 737-8 MAX has long been grounded due to ongoing safety issues. However, with the introduction of a new software which supposingly rectified the problems, the type has slowly come back into service around the world and Air Canada is one of them. Airlines such as Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and American Airlines are also bringing back the MAX.
由於一些長期都解決不到的技術問題，737-8 MAX 在過往幾年都一直未能執飛。到了幾個月前，波音終於將問題解決，並得到准許，可以再再將737-8 MAX 執飛。數間航空公司例如加拿大航空，西南航空，聯合航空和美國航空都開始將此機型帶到天空裏。
The 737-8 MAX is used by Air Canada to fly to destinations such as Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal from Vancouver.

This is a redeye flight which departs at midnight and arriving in Montreal in the morning. As Montreal is 3 hours ahead of Vancouver, this flight is perfect for those who'd love to start their day immediately after arriving (given that they have had ample rest...).
這次的航班是紅眼航班－晚上出發，早上抵達。由於蒙特利爾(Montreal)比溫哥華快3小時，所以這班機最適合那些想到達後立刻想旅遊的人。
We're once again crossing the entire Canadian continent, just like we did when we flew to Toronto
這趟旅程與之前飛到多倫多一樣，橫跨了差不多整個加拿大。
Check-in 辦理手續
Self check-in has become the norm of modern day travels. Everything during the process is pretty much contactless unless you require assistance although you can still choose to proceed to one of the staffed check-in counters.
自助辦理登機已經很普及，因此這旅程也不例外。雖然整個過程都很方便，但如果有寄艙行李的話，也是要到一般的check-in counters把行李放到運輸帶上。
Seat & Cabin 座位和機艙
As one of the newest aircraft in the fleet, the 737-8 MAX has the newest domestic business product onboard, similar to what you'll find on their A220s.
The aircraft has a spacious cabin and that exciting 'new-car smell' is still there.
The business class cabin has a layout of 2-2 over 4 rows.
Within the armest next to you is also another storage compartment with a universal power outlet plus 2 USB charging ports.
737-8 MAX 是加拿大航空較新的飛機，所以也像他們的A220一樣，配有最新的產品。
737-8 MAX 的機艙很寬倘，而且還可以聞到那種令人興奮的「新車味道」。
商務艙是很常見的2-2配置。商務座位共有4行，總共有16個座位。
這款座位的差電和空間的確充足－螢幕下和座位旁邊有可放置物品的空間；而座位旁邊有2個USB叉電位和一個Universal的充電插座。
On the ceiling are some mood lighting (similar to those on the retrofitted SkyInterior 737-800) which are comfortable to the eyes when the cabin lights are dimmed.
天花上裝有mood lighting，跟現在翻新後配有SkyInterior的737-800類似。這類燈光令眼睛比較舒服，和容易適應不同的光線。
Each seat is equipped with a wide HD touchcreen, loaded with the latest IFE system. Controls are extremely responsive and smooth. At the bottom of the screen are various seat controls and also the power button for the screen.
每個座位均有一個高清螢幕和最新的娛樂系統。螢幕的控制非常流暢，而座位和螢幕的控制，例如是燈光和crew call button位於從螢幕下面的按鈕。

We had an on time departure as it was close to midnight and there wasn't a lot of traffic.

Flight Meals 飛機餐
2 meals (a light snack and breakfast) were provided for this red eye flight.
這趟旅程有2餐飛機餐－包括起飛後的小食和降落前的早餐。
As it was late at night, we were only served a simple savory snack followed by a choice of drink.
由於起飛後已經過了午夜，所以我們只有很輕便的小食和飲料（我當然是選擇了我最喜歡的蘋果汁）。
A full breakfast was served approximately 2 hours before landing and it was the same as what I had on my flight to Toronto back in early March
早餐服務大約在降落前2小時前展開，而食物款式是跟之前飛到多倫多的航班一樣的。
It is a celebrity-chef-inspired meal consisting of pastries, continental breakfast as well as a granola yogurt with assorted fruits. Due to the pandemic, all food items were served in a single mealbox instead of on a tray. As you would've expected, cutleries were all plastics.
Menu是由一個著名的廚師度身訂造的。早餐包含了包點，歐陸式早餐和穀類+水果的優格。因為疫情的關係，所有早餐都在一個餐盒上，而不是在餐盤上。而餐具也是塑膠的。
Our flight concluded with a beautiful sunrise before commencing the descent into Montreal.
在準備下降前，太陽終於出來，為這趟旅程作上總結。
