疫情過後,Anky仔先去了泰國,再去馬來西亞,現在就在馬來西亞航空MH88前往Anky仔最愛的地方--日本。馬航現在只有3條航線來往馬來西亞及日本。一班是Anky仔會坐的MH88 吉隆坡-東京成田機場;一班是MH36 吉隆坡-東京羽田機場;最後一班是MH52 吉隆坡-大阪關西機場。而同屬寰宇一家的日本航空就每天一班吉隆坡來往東京成田機場。

Since the end of the pandemic, I first visited Thailand, followed by Malaysia; and now my favourite destination - Japan.  At the moment of writing, Malaysia Airlines is only serving 3 routes between Malaysia and Japan.  I'll be flying on one of them - MH88, which connects Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo Narita, with the other 2 being MH36 (Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo Haneda) and MH52 (Kuala Lumpur to Osaka Kansai).  Japan Airlines, a member of Oneworld (which Malaysia Airlines also belongs to), flies once daily between Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo Narita.

 

MH88執飛A350-900,所以飛機是有3個艙等,分別是商務套房,商務艙及經濟艙。當天的商務套房是完全沒有旅客,所以服務商務套房的空服人員也下來商務艙幫忙。商務艙就全滿。

MH88 is flown with an A350-900, hence 3 cabin classes are available - Business Suite, Busiess and Economy.  The business suites were completely empty on my flight, so the crew who were stationed for business suites helped out in the business cabin, which was completely full.

飛機當天使用C36號登機門,它位置中場客運廊那邊,所以Anky仔也使用中場的貴賓室。上飛機後,你會先看到商務套房,才到商務艙。馬航的A350-900是有兩個商務艙區域,我就坐在5K,是第一個商務艙區域。

Our flight boarded from gate C36, located in the Midfield Concoursem, which is also where the lounge I visited is located.  Once onboard, you'll first see the business suites, followed by the business cabin.  There are 2 business class cabins onboard the A350-900.  I was seated at seat 5K, located in the first cabin.

 

到達你的座位就已經有很多東西在等著你。首先,在你的座位上會有一個藍色枕頭及藍色的毛毯。在座位前的袋子內就有過夜包及抗嘈噪音耳機。

There is a plethora of items waiting at the seat.  First, you'll find a blue pillow and blanket.  Below the seat in front of you are also an amenities kit and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

 

個人電視就在你的座位前方。個人電視下方就有一個放腳的位置及床舖。

The IFE screen is just below the seat in front of you.  Below the screen you'll find an ottoman and a mattress topper.

 

床舖就是旅客自己打理的,但床舖的設計是沒想到旅客需扣好安全帶的想法,大家可以看到沒有位置給安全帶顯示出來的。

Passengers would have to do their own bed.  In addition to that, the design of the mattress is not thoughtful enough to reveal your seatbelt, which could make it difficult when the seatbelt sign is on and the crew are doing their safety checks while the passengers are fast asleep.

 

空服人員就在大部份旅客登機後送上歡迎飲料及非常熱的毛巾。

The cabin crew handed out welcome drinks and hot towels after boarding was almost complete.

 

在座位旁邊就藏有個人電視控制器,個人座位閱讀燈,座位控制器及一枝水。

Next to the seat you'll find an IFE control, reading light, seat controls and a bottle of water.

 

 

 

由於MH88是晚上11點多,差不多12點的航班,飛行時間大約7小時,所以飛機餐會派發兩餐,一餐是宵夜,另一餐就是早餐。餐單就會提供給大家看看,並有回程的飛機餐點。

MH88 has a flight time of about 7 hours departing close to midnight, hence 2 meals will be served - supper and breakfast.  The menu was first distributed to passengers, which also contains the meal selections for the return journey.

 

大家一定會嘗試馬航最著名的餐點--沙嗲。但起飛後的第一個飛機餐不是沙嗲,大家知道是哪樣嗎?沒錯,第一樣就是飲料及花生。聽說馬航的花生大家也好喜歡?

I'm sure you'd love to try MH's most famous dish - satay.  However, that was not served as the first meal.  Instead, we were first given a pack of peanuts and some drinks.  I heard that you guys are also a fan of these peanuts?

 

沙嗲就會在起飛後第二樣提供的。通常有兩種選擇,因為馬來西亞是不吃豬肉的,所以只會有雞,牛選擇。當然,你可以跟空服人員說混合或是兩種,空服人員也會給你,當然不會因為你選兩種就會有多幾串了。同時,空服人員也會給一條冷的毛巾給你。

I finally got to try the satay in my second course.  I was offered 2 choices (chicken or beef), though pork was not one of them due to certain religious customs in Malaysia.  If you have a hard time deciding between chicken and beef, you can ask for a mix of both.  As you may have already guessed, you will not be given more even you opted for a mix of meat.  At the meantime, the crew gave us a cold towel.

 

沙嗲吃完後,其實時間已經是12點多,差不多一點,所以空服人員也會問你要不要吃壽司或麵,還是休息。Anky仔看見有壽司,就選了壽司,吃完再刷牙睡覺。沒想到,這個壽司雖然只有3 件,但也滿大的。

After the finished up the satay, it was already pass midnight.  The crew offered us sushis or noodles; or whether you'd want to have some rest instead.  Since I was craving for sushi, I asked for some before going to bed.  Although there were only 3 pieces of sushis, they were quite large.

 

飛機在航程中不斷有強大的氣流,令飛機震動也不少,而且機長也很密集的開及關安全帶燈號,空服也因為看到安全帶燈號亮著而不斷廣播通知乘客扣好安全帶 ,其實在長途航班也是打擾旅客休息的。

We encountered some strong turbulence during the majority of the flight and the seatbelt sign kept coming on and off.  Because of this, the crew would make an announcement everytime the seatbelt sign was turned on.  This was quite disturbing.

 

也因為這樣,Anky仔反反覆覆醒了又睡了再醒了,就到了早餐時間。這也代表飛機還有一個多小時就到達日本東京了。早餐的前菜是水果,同時會有麵包,飲料及乳酪。

I could not get some solid sleep because of the endless announcements and I finally woke up to breakfast after some intermittent rest.  This also means that we are only just over an hour away from Tokyo.  The apptetisers consist of fresh fruits, croissant, drinks and yogurt.

 

享用水果後,空服就詢問你的早餐選擇。我就選了馬來西亞的傳統早餐,椰槳飯。味道也不錯。

The cabin crew came around and asked for our selection for the main dish.  I went for the traditional Malaysian breakfast - nasi lemak.  It tasted quite good.

 

吃完椰槳飯後,空服就收東西,並問一下需不需要咖啡或茶,我就選了日本綠茶。

After I finished the meal, the tray was cleared and was also asked if I wanted some coffee or tea.  I chose the Japanese green tea.

 

在享用日本綠茶的時間,空服就派發日本入境表及海關申報表。如果你已經申請了Visit Japan Web,你就不用拿及填寫,只需下機後,顯示二維碼便可入境日本了,非常快捷及方便。

While I was enjoying the tea, the crew handed out the Japanese immigration and declaration form.  If you have already declared using the "Visit Japan Web", then you can head straight out after scanning the QR code, without having to fill in this form.

 

在其他旅客填寫入境表的時候,我就看著窗戶,慢慢享受著綠茶,看著日出。

While other passengers were busy filling in the form, I took the time to enjoy my tea while seeing the sunrise.

 

飛機飛了6小時5分鐘,大約在日本時間早上6點58分到達東京成田機場,滑行了大約15分鐘才到達指定的登機門。

After 6 hours and 5 minutes, we landed in Tokyo Narita airport at 6:58 local time.  The taxi to the gate took 15 minutes, after which the journey came to an end.
