國泰航空早餐好嗎？ Breakfast is great on a Cathay flight？－ANKY N KURTIS TRAVEL

不知道大家在疫情尾聲到現在有沒有出國旅行呢？雖然現在還沒回復疫情前的水平，但我們香港人已經不斷出發去其他國家了，就好像Anky仔已經飛了4-5次了。而今次的航程也因為大量旅客前往這國家，所以也有很多航空公司在飛或加班了。泰國曼谷一直也是香港人其中一個熱愛的旅遊勝地，所以香港去曼谷現在也有多間航空公司在飛了，包括有國泰航空，香港航空，香港快運，泰國國際航空，阿聯酋航空，荷蘭皇家航空，埃塞俄比亞航空等等。

Our destination - Bangkok, is one of the popular places for those in Hong Kong and services to Bangkok have increased to meet the returning demand. Airlines that serve this route include Hong Kong Airlines, Hong Kong Express, Thai Airways, Emirates, KLM and Ethiopian Airlines etc.

我在2月的時候已經購買了香港曼谷的機票，當時顯示執飛的是A330-300的飛機，但在起飛前大約一星期，飛機便改飛了A350-1000。後來再看，才發現國泰航空已加多了最少2班航班，而且也是執飛A350-1000。所以當天辦理商務艙的登機手續地方也有長長的人龍。我也等了15分鐘才到指定櫃檯。辦理登機手續後，你會拿到2張卡，分別是登機證及貴賓室邀請卡。

My tickets were purchased 2 months in advance. At the time of making the reservation, it was shown that the flight will be operated by an A330-300. However, a week before the trip, it had been changed to an A350-1000. Upon closer look, Cathay Pacific had added at least 2 flights, both served with an A350-1000. Due to the demand, there was a long line for the business check-in counters and it took nearly 15 minutes before it was my turn. I was handed out 2 passes - one was the boarding pass and the other was a lounge invitation card.

貴賓室方面，由於商務貴賓室已重開了8號登機門附近的 The Deck 及65號登機門的 The Pier，所以現在的商務艙或國泰銀卡，寰宇一家金卡旅客也不能進入 The Wing的頭等貴賓室了。但現在除了以上2個國泰商務貴賓室，你更可使用澳洲航空的貴賓室了。當天CX619的登機門是2號，雖然最近的貴賓室是The Deck，但其實也要走大約15分鐘，因為是一南一北的方向。

Both lounges, The Deck (near gate 8) and The Pier (near gate 65), were reopened. As a result, business class guests and Cathay Silver Cardholders are not allowed to use the first class lounge in The Wing anymore. Apart from The Deck and The Pier, you may also choose to use Qantas's lounge. The flight CX619 departed from gate 2, with the closest lounge being The Deck. However, it would still take 15 minutes to get there since they're situated on the opposite ends of the terminal.

前面有說飛機是前一星期才改A350-1000，但大家也看到人數是非常多。登機結束後，我也看到商務艙是全滿的。經濟艙和特選經濟艙也是差不多沒位置了。我的座位是22A，商務艙倒數第二排。我是比較喜歡坐在後面，因為空間感比較大。我也不怕沒喜歡的飛機餐，因為國泰現在會先跟鑽石卡及金卡會員下飛機餐的。

The flight was still packed despite being swapped to a larger A350-1000. The business cabin was full, there weren't a lot of seats left in economy and premium economy either. I was seated at 22A, the second last row of business class. I prefer to sit towards the back since it feels more spacious. I also wouldn't be worried that my option would run out since Diamond and Gold members will have their orders being taken before others.

大家可以猜猜早餐吃甚麼嗎？早餐其實比正餐差一點，只有兩個選擇。當天飛機亞洲臉龐比較多，所以有一個選擇很快就沒有了。給大家看看餐單吧。大家也可以選一下你會吃哪一個餐吧。

Can you guess what was offered for breakfast? It was a bit of a lackluster compared to the normal main dish. Since the majority of the passengers were Asian, the first opiton quickly ran out.

主餐第一個選擇是西式：炒蛋配豬肉腸。另一個就是港式點心。由於我有優先選擇，所以Anky仔點了港式點心。空服在問其他旅客的時候，已經先說了已經沒有點心了，介不介意吃炒蛋呢。相信其他旅客也沒辦法，無奈地接受這餐點了。由於飛機要等待貨物上飛機，所以飛機慢了一點點推出。Anky仔才發現自己沒拍到歡迎飲料及熱毛巾了，在此跟大家道歉一下了，希望大家原諒了。

The first option of the main meal was a Western option: fried eggs with pork sausage. The other one was dim sum. Since I was allowed to make my choice first, I went for the dim sum. Later on, I overheard that the dim sum options ran out when it was other passengers' turn. Since we had to wait for the cargo to load, there was a slight delay for our departure. I realised I did not take any photos of the welcome drink and hot towels, apologies for that.

飛機從07R跑道起飛，起飛後的天空非常美。配合國泰的A350引擎，應該是飛機迷最喜歡的。

We departed from runway 07R. The view after take off, together with the RR XWB engine, this scene was spectacular.
