ANKY N KURTIS TRAVEL

今次的旅行也是Anky仔第一次坐的航空公司，前一篇是它的母公司。相信大家如果有看上一篇飛行記錄，也知道我這次會介紹哪一間航空公司了吧~~

On this journey, I flew on an airline that I had not flown before.  The previous flight review would be a good hint, as that is the parent airline of this review's spotlight.

無錯，這次我介紹的就是泰國微笑航空，它是泰國國際航空的子公司。它主要是飛泰國的國內線及少量的國際線，彌補泰航所飛的地方，所以微笑航空的機隊就只有小飛機A320，而微笑航空也不是簾航來的。Anky仔今次坐的是曼谷前往布吉的國內線。

You've guessed it right!  ThaiSmile - the sister company of Thai International Airways, which focuses mainly on domestic routes with only a handful of international routes that connects to cities that are underserved by Thai Airways.  Owing to this fact, the airline has a fleet consisting of only A320s.  It is also important to note that it is not a low cost carrier.  This time, I flew from Bangkok to Phuket.

在曼谷機場辦理登機手續是有獨自的櫃台，不會使用泰航的櫃台，微笑航空櫃台是在B區。

ThaiSmile has its very own check-in counters located in Zone B, so you won't be using Thai Airways'.

由於泰國微笑航空是泰航的子公司，所以泰航會員及特選經濟艙旅客是可享有貴賓室，泰航會員更可有額外行李。國內線的貴賓室是在A區附近，指示牌是有指示的

Since ThaiSmile is Thai Airways' sister company, those who have status with Thai Airways and those flying in premium economy are eligible to use the lounge.  Elites are also granted extra luggage allowance.  The domestic lounge is located in Zone A, which is indicated by the signage.

Anky仔坐的航班WE221是一班不準時的航班，在2022年12月24日或之前，只有10%的準時率，所以Anky仔亦預料會晚到了，所以我就在貴賓室坐到差不多7點才離開。 

WE221 has not been departing on time.  Prior to December 24, 2022, the on-time performance was only 10%.  I kept that in mind and only left the lounge at 7pm.

貴賓室雖然不太大，但也提供了熱食，冷熱飲料，冰淇淋及甜點~ 

Despite the lounge is on the smaller end, hot food, cold beverage, ice cream and desserts were provided.

飛機結果晚了最少一個半小時才到登機門，但是，微笑航空沒有把航班的起飛時間更改，所有人也在B3登機門坐...坐...坐~~

Our aircraft arrived at our gate 90 minutes late.  However, the airline did not change our departure time so every one was waiting at the gate.

飛機終於到達了B3登機門，在上段旅客下飛機的時候，地勤人員亦廣播說最新的登機時間。航班比WE211 (起飛時間:18:45)更晚了。

Our aircaft had finally arrived at the gate.  While the incoming passengers were disemarking, the ground staff finally made the announcement and made the update on our departure time, which would depart even later than the next flight WE211 (departing at 18:45) to Phuket.

飛機在19:15左右登機，特選經濟艙可以有優先登機。空服人員沒有派發歡迎飲料。只在差不多所有旅客登機後問你餐點及飲料選擇，當天只有2個選擇：一個是咖哩魚飯，另一個Anky仔就忘記了。因為Anky仔選了咖哩魚飯。

Boarding began at 19:15.  Premium economy guests are allowed priority boarding, though no welcome drinks were served.  We were only asked about our meal selection after almost all passengers have boarded.  There were only 2 meals - one of them was curry fish with rice, and I could not remember what the other was.

座位方面，如果大家有坐過歐洲的飛機也知道，商務艙其實跟經濟艙沒分別。只是鎖起中間的位置而已。微笑航空的特選經濟艙也是一模一樣。分別是微笑航空第一排是31排,共有3排。

For those who have flown intercontinental flights within Europe would know that there is actually not much difference between business and economy class, with the only difference being a blocked middle seat.  This also applies to ThaiSmile's premium economy cabin.  There are 3 rows in premium economy, with the first row being row 31.

飛機的所有座位也是沒有個人電視，空服也不提供平板電腦。座位前方會有A320的安全須知卡及一個餐桌。

There is neither IFE (inflight entertainment system) on board, nor was any tablet provided by the crew.  At the back of each seat you'll find a safety card and a tray table.

中間的位置由於是沒人會坐，所以也有一點不一樣。大家可以看看~~

The blocked seat also appears different.

• 座位33J，中間位置是寫著 " Reserved for your comfort "
• Seat 33J: "Reserved for your comfort" is indicated.

從我的座位33K看出去，就看到泰國Vietjet Air 的A321飛機剛到曼谷。

起飛後 After Takeoff

坐在右邊的我就看到泰國的燈色跟香港的差不多，也是美美的 ，也可以看到泰國是很大的 ^^

I was able to enjoy the night scenery through the right side of the window, which I think resembles that of Hong Kong's.

安全帶燈號熄後，飛機的燈光會亮著，因為空服人員在預備大家的餐點。特選經濟艙的旅客會先有一條熱毛巾給你抹抹手。

The lights were on after the seatbelt sign was turned off.  The crew then began preparing for our meals.  You'll receive a hot towel in premium economy.

之後，空服收回毛巾再幫你鋪餐桌，這是一個加分位置，因為我也沒想過一小時飛機也會鋪餐桌。

Then, a table cloth will be provided.  This improves my impression as it is unexpected that a table cloth will be given on such a short flight (1 hour).

不久，空服人員就把餐點送上來。由於是一小時航程，所以是一盤送上來的方式。

The meal was given in a form of a meal tray.

• 餐具 Cutleries
• 主餐 Main Dish
• 甜點 Dessert
• 一枝水 A bottle of water
• 一盒蘋果汁 A box of apple juice

打開主餐的盒子就有香味傳出來，咖哩味真的好香。它不是辣的咖哩，是甜甜的咖哩，而且餐具也不是膠的，我好喜歡，又是一個加分位置~~

The scent of curry rushes out as soon as I opened the cover.  It doens't just taste spicy, but also sweet.  Metal cutleries were given instead of plastic, which is what I really appreciate.

享受完飛機餐，前排的旅客就把座位調低休息。大家可以看看座位的調整，其實跟其他航空公司的經濟艙也差不多吧~~

After meal service ended, the passenger in front of us reclined his/her seat.  You can tell from the recline that every aspect of the seat is no different from economy.

飛機最後也晚了50分鐘才到達布吉，飛機停在國內線的7號登機門。亦由於WE221晚到，所以回程航班也晚了，真的辛苦了旅客，機組人員及其他服務此航班的人員。也希望微笑航空可以想想辦法處理一下WE221航班的晚點問題！！

At last, we landed in Phuket 50 minutes behind schedule, and was parked at gate 7 in the domestic terminal.  Since WE221 arrived late, the outbound flight also departed late.  It would worth trying to rectify this issue, which happens specifically on this flight!
