今次,Anky仔繼續介紹一下馬來西亞航空公司的B737-800飛機,而這是Anky仔比較少介紹的經濟艙。如果大家喜歡看經濟艙的飛行記錄,就告訴我們吧。這次,是上一篇飛行記錄的回程航班。飛機也是一樣的座位的B737-800。所以,這次是主要介紹經濟艙的座位和環境,再次感受一下馬航所謂的 Malaysia hospitality。其實,如果你選擇短途航班的馬來西亞航空,就一定會碰到B737-800的飛機,完全是沒難道。你可以看到香港-吉隆坡,曼谷-吉隆坡,新加坡-吉隆坡 的航線也是不能避開B737的飛機,所以國內線搭乘B737-800的機率是99%。如果你有幸就可能坐到新艙的B737-800。

In this review, we will still be looking at Malaysia Airlines' 737-800, but in economy class.  If you prefer to see more reviews in economy class, let me know.  This review is the return journey of the flight that was previously reviewed.  We will be focusing on the economy seat features, and have a feel on the Malaysia hospitality.  As a matter of fact, if you're flying short haul with Malaysia Airlines, chances are, you will most likely be flying on one of their 737-800s.  Routes such as Hong Kong - Kuala Lumpur; Bangkok - Kuala Lumpur; and Singapore - Kuala Lumpur are examples of such.  If you're in luck, you might be able to fly on MH's newest 737-800s.

馬航的B737-800經濟艙跟其他航空公司一樣也是3-3配置 ,但他們家的B737-800就有分有個人電視和沒有個人電視的分別,而Anky仔這次就坐有個人電視的B737-800飛機。

Malaysia Airlines' 737-800s are in the standard 3-3 configuration, with the difference being whether IFEs are installed.  This time, I had the opportunity to fly on one of the 737-800s with IFEs installed.

在你登機前,耳機已放在你的座位上,枕頭毛毯就要自己問空服人員拿取。

Prior to boaridng, headphones are already placed on your seat.  If you need any cushions or blankets, you would need to approach the cabin crew.

航班在所有旅客登機後就馬上關門,並播放安全示範,現在的安全示範也比以前的生動。

Cabin doors were closed after boarding completed.  The safety video was then played.  The safety demonstration appears less mundane than before.

安全示範播放時,一班亞洲航空的A320便到達沙巴。我們的航班也在它停泊後便推出,返回吉隆坡國際機場。

While the safety video was being played, an AirAsia's A320 just taxiied into its gate.  We then commenced pushback after the AirAsia A320 came to a full stop.

起飛後,由於沙巴天氣非常差,飛機不斷的有氣流,安全帶信號一直亮著,飛機也沒有一刻是平穩的。

Due to weather conditions, there were non-stop turbulence and hence the seatbelt sign never came off.

飛了大約45分鐘,安全帶的燈號終於關了,空服人員就馬上為大家預備飛機餐。當天的飛機餐有兩種,但也是飯的選擇。馬航經濟艙飛機餐是沒有餐盤的,是用一個盒子代替,而盒子裹內面就有你的主餐,一杯水及一包花生。

45 minutes into the flight, the seatbelt sign were finally switched off, upon which our meals were also served.  There were 2 options for the meals, however none of which consist of rice.  Meal trays aren't given for economy meals on Malaysia Airlines.  Instead, paper boxes are used.  Inside the box you'll find: main dish, a cup of water and a pack of peanuts.

我選擇的主餐是有點辣的魚配米飯,味道不差,份量也可以。

I went for the fish, which was slgihtly spicy.  The portion was acceptable and tasted good.

空服收回飛機餐後,飲料也開始派發 ,當中有果汁,也有咖啡,茶等。

The cabin crew collected the meals and started drinks service.  You can choose from various fruit juice, coffee and tea etc.

空服收回杯子後,飛機也差不多要開始下降前往吉隆坡。一模一樣,天氣也是不太好,在降落前45分鐘就亮起了扣好安全帶的標誌。

After our cups were collected, it was almost time to descent.  Similarly, the weather was not that great.  The seatbelt sign came on 45 minutes before landing.

今天的MH2641用了2小時05分鐘就到達了吉隆坡,比預定時間早了15分鐘。我是第一次坐馬航有早到的情況出現。馬來西亞航空公司 MH2641 Malaysia Airli

The journey took only 2 hours and 5 minutes, with 15 minutes to spare.  This was my first time on MH that we arrived earlier than scheduled.
