今天,Anky仔跟大家介紹一下亞洲航空的飛機。這次先跟大家介紹的是在泰國做基地的泰國亞洲航空。大家也應該知道泰國曼谷有兩個機場,一個是素萬那普機場(BKK airport),另一個就是簾航會用的廊曼國際機場 (DMK airport)。亞洲航空大部分去曼谷的也是使用廊曼國際機場,就只有兩班泰國亞洲航空是前往或降落在素萬那普機場。泰國亞洲航空由於是泰國註冊,所以飛機名及空服人員也是泰國的。就等我們帶大家去看看有甚麼是跟亞洲航空一樣,有甚麼不一樣的吧~

In this review, we will be having a look at my experience onboard Thai AirAsia, an airline that is based in Thailand.  As you may already know, there are 2 major airports in Bangkok - Suvarnabhumi Intl' Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang Airport (DMK).  If you're catching an AirAsia flight out of Bangkok, chances are, it'll depart from DMK, with only 2 Thai AirAsia flights serving in and out of BKK.  Since Thai AirAsia is registered in Thailand, the crew are from Thailand as well.  Now let's see how does this differ from the usual AirAsia flight.

 

在馬來西亞吉隆坡,泰國亞洲航空跟亞洲航空也是使用同一個航廈--KLIA2。辦理登機手續也是一模一樣的櫃檯,所以拿到的登機證也是跟亞洲航空是一樣的。亞洲航空是主要使用機器辦理登機手續,只有常飛客 (PREMIUM FLEX)及豪華平躺座椅 (PREMIUM FLATBED)是可以用人手辦理登機手續。如果你不是以上兩種,又去了人手的櫃檯,那亞洲航空好像是會收取額外的費用。

In Kuala Lumpur, Thai AirAsia shares the same termina (KLIA 2) with AirAsia.  Since there are no separate counters for Thai AirAsia, the boarding pass looks identical to the ones from AirAsia.  Only those with a Premium Flex fare and those flying in Premium Flatbed can use a staffed check-in counter.  If you do not fall into either category, but end up being in a staffed counter, you'll likely be charged a fee.

常飛客及豪華平躺座椅可以到W區辦理登機手續,行李也會有優先牌。

Premium Flex and Premium Flatbed guests can check-in at counter W, and your bags will be tagged priority.

  • 登機證 Boarding Pass

 

常飛客及豪華平躺座椅在吉隆坡是可以使用亞洲航空的貴賓室,但由於Anky仔去的時間還是因為疫情關係而關閉,Anky仔就只好去登機門了。由出境的地方去登機門也需一段時間,所以大家要預好時間。在去登機門的路程,大家也可以看到亞洲航空的飛機有很多。

Those with a Premium Flex fare and seated in Premium Flatbed are eligible to use the AirAsia lounge.  However, it was closed due to the pandemic.  So I had no choice but to wait at the gate.  There's a fair bit of distance between the check-in counters and the gate, so I'd advise you to spare more time.  As you can see from the photo below, there're a lot of AirAsia aircraft parked.

FD411是使用P7登機門,當你走到P區的時間,就需要過安檢了,也表示你的登機門是在P區,而不是Q,M等的登機門。過安檢後走大約10到15分鐘,就到了P7登機門。

Our flight FD411 boarded via gate P7.  As you arrive at Zone P, you'll have to go through security.  This also means that you are at Gates P, but not Q or M gates (which are on the other side of the terminal).  It took about 10 - 15 minutes to reach gate P7 from the security checkpoint.

進入P7登機門等候區前,地勤人員就會掃描你的登機證,確認了你是該航班的旅客才可進入

Your boarding pass is scanned before entering the gate lounge, so as to ensure that you are a passenger on this flight.

由於前段航班FD410晚到,所以FD411也晚了大約50分鐘。飛機的國旗是泰國國旗,並不是馬來西亞的國旗,而飛機的名字也是泰國的,當天執飛FD411是HS-BBI,大約9歲。空服也是來至泰國的,所以廣播一定會說泰文。

Since the incoming flight (FD410 was delayed), we were also delayed for 50 minutes.  The flag on the aircraft is a Thai flag, as opposed to a Malaysian flag; the same applies to the name of the aircraft.  HS-BBI was the aircraft for our flight, which was delivered to the airline 9 years ago.  Since the crew are from Thailand, announcements are made in Thai.

FD410 ARRIVAL

 

FD410下客後,地勤人員就廣播FD411可以登機了,因為機艙的清潔全是空服人員清潔的,而預訂的飛機餐一早就在泰國已經上了,所以前段所有飛機旅客下飛機後就可以登機了。

After the passengers on the incoming flight disembarked, boarding for our flight began.  Since the cabin crew are responsible for cleaning; and pre-ordered meals were already loaded back in Thailand, we were able to board as soon as all passengers from the previous flight disembarked.

飛機頭五排,緊急出口行數是熱座位,座位上是紅色的,空服人員會看著。如果旅客不是熱座位的旅客,空服人員會叫他返回自己的座位。熱座位跟普通的座位一樣是3-3配置,而且沒有個人娛樂系統的。

The first 5 rows of seats are "Hot Seats", which are easily recognisable by the red headrest.  These seats are "heavily guarded" by the crew, in an attempt to stop those who are not booked on those seats sitting there.  The "Hot Seats" are in the same 3-3 configuration, with no IFE screens.

在登機的時候,空服人員會經常廣播旅客請準備登機證及按登機證的座位就坐 。我本來是坐1D的位置,但因為1F的位置有人坐,我就在登機結束後問了一下空服人員能不能換去後面的位置,空服人員也會提醒你如果換位置,也只可以換熱座位的位置。緊急出口就更有其他安全提醒。我就選擇去了第3排,因為整個第3-5排也是沒有人的。

While boarding, we are constantly being reminded to have our boarding passes ready and sit according to the seat number indicated on the boarding pass.  I was originally sesated in 1D, but since 1F was occupied, I asked to change my seat.  I was reminded that if I had to change seats, I'll have to be in another Hot Seat.  If you're seated in an emergency exit row, there'll be additional briefing from the crew.  I opted for row 3 in the end since rows 3 - 5 were empty.

用KLIA2的航空公司全是簾航,除了亞洲航空,還有新加坡的酷航,捷星亞洲航空,馬來西亞新的簾航 -- MYAirline。

KLIA 2 is built for low cost carriers (LCC).  Apart form AirAsia, you'll also find Scoot Air (a subsidy of Singapore Airlines), Jetstar Asia and Malaysia's newest LCC - MYAirline.

 

在我座位前方除了有一張餐桌,還有機內餐單,免稅品單等等,當然也不少得A320的安全須知卡。跟亞洲航空不同的是,他們主要是收泰銖,令吉是不太會收的。餐單的價錢也是使用泰銖顯示。

A menu, duty free magazine and safety card were placed in the seat pocket.  What's different from AirAsia is that they prefer Thai Bhat for onboard purchases, and won't accept Malaysia Ringgit.  The price on the menu is also shown in Thai Bhat.

飛機後推後,空服人員也開始做安全示範,同時也會檢查大家的起飛安全。

After push back, the crew also began their safety demonstration, followed by a safety check.

 

飛機起飛不久,就有一些不穩定的氣流,所以安全帶指示燈也亮得比較長,當安全帶指示燈關閉後,空服人員也忙著預備餐車及免稅品車等。常飛客及豪華平躺座椅乘客在起飛24小時前就可以在管理行程內選擇一份免費餐點和送一枝水給你。如果多選一份,就需付費了。Anky仔就選了日式照燒雞飯。味道非常好吃,如果不用錢的話,Anky仔一定會多吃一個。哈哈。

The seatbelt sign remained on for quite a while due to turbulence.  After it was switched off, the crew started preparing for meal and duty free services.  For those booked on a Premium Flex are and Premium Flatbed cabin may pre-order your complimentary meal and a bottle of water.  If you choose more than 1 meals, than you'll have to pay.  I went for the chicken teriyaki rice, and it was tasty.  I would've gone for a second one if it were free.

吃完飛機餐後,空服人員也推銷亞航的免稅品。再休息了一下子,機長就廣播飛機開始下降前往素萬那普機場,這表示飛行時間只剩下30分鐘左右,空服人員也開始收拾垃圾及清潔洗手間等。飛機最後也是晚到了曼谷。

Duty free service followed after the meal.  Not long after, the captain announced that we were beginning our descent into BKK, meaning that there were only 30 minutes left to this flight.  The crew also began collecting rubbish and clean the bathroom.  We ultimately ended up arriving late in Bangkok.
